Science & Humanities Departmenthas a number of highly qualified teaching staff with 4 doctorates in Maths, 2 in Physics and 1 in Chemistry.
Science block accommodates first year instruction of theory, Physics, Chemistry, C and English Laboratories.
Faculty have been regularly contributing to reputed journals and have also authored several text books.

Dr. S.R.K.Raju worked in T.I.F.R.- I.I.Sc. program on applications of mathematics for one year.
He earned his Ph.D degree, in the area of "Banach Spaces" from University of Hyderabad.
He has been working in the college since 1982.
He was In-charge of Examination Section of the college for a number of years.
As the head of S&H dept., he is also the overall supervisor for I year instruction.

He has publications in International and National Journals.
His areas of interests are Analytical Applications of Metal Complexes and Environmental Sciences with special reference to water pollution.
Labs in the Department:
Physics Laboratory covers an area of 375 sq.m and it can accommodate 65 students at a time.
The lab is well equipped and has important apparatus like Fibre Optics Kit, Ultra Sonic Diffractometer, Ultra Sonic Interferometer, Solar Cell, Dielectric Constant, B-H curve apparatus etc.
Chemistry Laboratory has an area of 350 sq.m. it accommodates 65 students at a time.
The lab is equipped with sufficient number of instruments to conduct experiments individually.
The lab has instruments ranging from conductivity meters, pH meters, Colori meters, Electronic balance & Spectrophotometer.
The Lab also has sufficient glass apparatus and other equipment such as magnetic & mechanical stirrers, Vacuum pump, Condensers & Melting point apparatus.
English Language Laboratory facilitates students to upgrade their communication skills in English.
The training aims at arming the students with skills required of the future professional leaders.
The Computer Aided Language Learning Laboratory (CALL) is equipped with computers that are networked and closely monitored by giving individualized attention to the students and has a state of the art software that helps neutralize students' pronunciation to make them globally intelligible and acceptable by training them in various segmental and supra-segmental features of spoken English like, phonemes, accent in words and sentences, rhythm and intonation etc.,
The Audio Visual / Soft skills Laboratory is established to help students to think conceptually and apply their learning real life situations in a holistic manner, imparting tips in personality development to equip the future technocrats to face interviews successfully acquire employability skills.
C, C++ Laboratory is part of Computer Science Department. It caters to 65 students at a time working on independent terminals.
Junior Workshop is part of Mechanical Engineering Department and offers the trades of Fitting, Carpentry, House wiring, Plumbing, Welding and Sheet metal work.
