Dr.P.A.Sastry obtained his B.E. from O.U. and M.E. from IISc. After working with D.R.D.L., Ingersoll-Rand,and other industries he obtained Ph.D.from Monash University, Australia and worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan Canada.
Dr.P.A.Sastry joined the college as reader in Mechanical Engineering Department in 1987.
He served as a Principal during 2000-2004 and 2006-2011 and as a Dean during the year 2005. He has worked as Director - Academics from May 2011- Dec 2012.
His areas of interest include Robotics, Control Systems,Fluid Power and Dynamics of Machine. He is also an active consultant with industries.
