The department of MCA was started in the year 2008.
MCA course is spread over six semesters with real time projects included in the sixth semester
The department has a state-of-the-art computer lab housing over 30 networked systems, 30 wireless systems with latest software , internet facility, campus recruitment training and a well equiped library
The MCA department is housed in CS & IT Block, the department has well qualified and experienced teaching & supporting staff.

He has aothored the text book "Business Data Processing" for Telugu Academy, Hyderabad.
Areas of interest: Image Processing.

The department has well established laboratories with the state of the art equipment.
There are two computer laboratories with 30 computers each with ACER, Core 2 Duo.
The software packages include multiple copies of Rational Rose, VxWorks, Linux, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Xilinx, Verilog, Keil.
