The department of MCA was started in the year 2008.
MCA course is spread over six semesters with real time projects included in the sixth semester
The department has a state-of-the-art computer lab housing over 30 networked systems, 30 wireless systems with latest software , internet facility, campus recruitment training and a well equiped library
The MCA department is housed in CS & IT Block, the department has well qualified and experienced teaching & supporting staff.

Soft skills training:To hone the communication skills of the students, the English Lab is made as a mandatory session in the academic time table, which will be benevolent in placements beyond the regular OU academic curriculum. Seminars:
All the students of each year are required to present seminars in their area of interest under the guidance of eminent faculty as per the IEEE Standards. Seminars help the students in getting rid of public speaking phobias, improve the communication and Technical skills and paves the way towards research oriented thinking and learning. Projects:

TRAINING & PLACEMENTS
The Institute's Training and Placement Section provides a launch pad for students to make it to the best organizations in the fields of software. The biggest names in the corporate world visit the campus on a regular basis, with enviable recruitment offers. The department has achieved an impressive campus placement record in terms of percentage of registered students to the ones already placed. Out of 21 eligible students of the present passing out batch in June 2011, 12 students got placed with attractive pay scales and many more firms are expected to visit shortly and there by increasing the number of students to be placed.
The department conducts Campus recruitment training with the help of experts in the field of training, so that more number of students get placed in campus recruitment drive.
Soft skill program is a part of our regular curriculum, to enhance the communication skills of our students. Every effort is made by the department to instill the confidence among the students to be successful and have a prosperous career.
