Dr. Syed Tabassum Sultana, the Professor and the Head of the Department of  Business Management at MVSR Engineering College, Hyderabad. Formerly, She had worked at Matrusri Institute of Post Graduate Studies in the capacity as a Professor and Principal. An academician and researcher of par excellence, she comes with a profound teaching experience spanning about 25 years at PG/MBA and UG (Engineering) level. She holds an MBA from Osmania University with a specialization in Finance &Marketing. After obtaining her MPhil in management and she received her PhD in management from Osmania University, Hyderabad.  Her thesis on "Investors Behaviour” from the area of Behavioural Finance examines the influence of social and psychological factors on investors’ behavior. She cleared the distinguished UGCNET and APSET examinations for lectureship. In addition, she completed her M A (Economics) from Osmania University.

She serves as member in the Editorial boards of several journals of repute and has been a reviewer of International and National journals. She has 6 Scopus documents and has published 40 research papers in peer reviewed journals and presented 28papers in various National and International conferences. She has 2 patents, honoured with 2 awards for her contribution towards research.

She has 450 citations to her credit, an h Index of 7 and i10 index of 7 to her credit. As a passionate teacher and an able administrator she would like to make a difference to the lives of management students and dedicated to the task of institutional building.
